Here are various film-related blogs or journals that talk about SIFF during the festival.

The 2008 Fool Serious Awards have been posted to foolserious.org alongside the other years' awards.
153 holders of SIFF passes (full series, platinum, press and staff) rated every SIFF film they saw, averaging 70 films each.
The Most Liked films (those with the highest weighted average vote) are:

There is a new way to determine if you are a certified member of foolserious.org or not. After signing in to http://foolserious.org, click on "My Account" in the left menu bar. There is a new field in the "History" section of your user profile which has a heading of "Certified?" and has a value of either "yes" or "no".
The only thing that being certified gets you currently is the ability to see the FOOLs' Faces page here http://foolserious.org/viewfaces . There may be more benefits added in the future.

I wrote about the End-of-Festival party at Steve Smith's house on my personal online journal, here: http://steve98052.livejournal.com/357141.html
The message is really about the entire day, including the party, some driving around, some Fools at Kung Fu Panda Imax, and dinner with another Fool, all from my point of view. But I think Fools who attended the party will find at least some of it interesting, particularly the pictures. I took about two dozen, and shared the ten most presentable ones.

Well, there are plenty of cinematic opportunities this week to lessen any SIFF withdrawal symptoms we may be feeling...my personal doctor (Dr. Strangelove M.D.) has recommended that I watch a couple movies this week to avoid what he calls the "SIFF bends" (which results from rapid cinematic decompression).....Dr.

I maintain a separate blog at seattlefilmfest.blogspot.com. Rather than trying to maintain both feel free to jump over there if you're curious.

A lot of newspaper articles covering the end of SIFF 2008.....including one article about one of us FOOLs.....

From the Seattle Times:

In case any of you weren't aware, SIFF credited the account of each opening night party-goer with two (2) complimentary ticket vouchers to SIFF screenings. Instructions for claiming your vouchers are at the bottom of this posting. You may also claim them at any SIFF Will Call table at one of the SIFF Venues without redeeming them online.
SIFF did this to make up for the lack of promised champagne cocktails.
I know that most of you have passes, but these comp tickes could be a great way to get your friends hooked on SIFF.
