FOOLs trivia question: Name the director who's last three films in a row have ALL been voted by FOOLs into the Top Ten Most Liked films.

Answer: Yoji Yamada! In 2004, Yoji's "The Twilight Samurai" was voted the #1 Most Liked film of SIFF 2004. His next film, "The Hidden Blade" was the #5 Most Liked film of SIFF 2006. And this year, his film Love and Honor was the #6 Most Liked film of SIFF 2008. Only a great filmmaker could accomplish such a feat and Yoji Yamada has proven he is one of the greatest (and most consistent) filmmakers working today. And lucky for us, his film Love and Honor returns to SIFF Cinema here in Seattle for one week, so don't miss your opportunity to see a film by the FOOLs most successful director.

Other highlights this week are:
- The Wizard of Oz screening ONLY on Saturday morning 10AM at SIFF Cinema
- Tell No One, the #7 Most Liked film from SIFF 2007 is at the Egyptian
- If Only You Could Cook screens Thursday ONLY at the Seattle Art Museum.
- The Last Detail at the NWFF Tues and Weds ONLY. Darryl Ponicsan (author of The Last Detail) will introduce the Tuesday 7:30pm screening
